

The Friends of Sevenoaks Hospital asked us to paint the cafe at Sevenoaks Hospital. We organised a working party which worked over a weekend. The result is a bright, clean cafe that all the staff, patients and visitors can use with pleasure. Our picture shows the cafe with two of the volunteers who provide excellent service to the cafe's many customers.
Local state and charity organisations provide details of handicapped and elderly
people who need help with their gardens. We supply a team which can clear and tidy
areas which are difficult or impossible for the owners. We have also created a raised
garden for a wheelchair-

MacIntyre Care provides accommodation for people with learning difficulties. The Lions Club has purchased twenty talking albums for the organisation. These can be used to enable residents who cannot read to select their menu for the day or to do their own shopping. They can also provide more complex information such as how to make a will and how to report hate attacks.
GARDENING
The Lions Club has supported the Hospice in the Weald since it inception. Recently we donated awnings under which day patients can sit outside in the sun. We have also contributed to building works and purchased computers with relevant software.

The Lions Club performs projects which are are proposed by social services or other support organisations, local charities or individuals.
