TWINNING WITH HOFGEISMAR LIONS CLUB

In 1981 the Sevenoaks Lions Club twinned with the Lions Club in Hofgeismar in Germany. This has led to many deep, long-term friendships with frequent personal visits between individuals. In addition, each year one club makes a visit to the other. In 2008 it was the turn of the Germans to visit Sevenoaks. We had a wonderful few days together with many activities including a visit to Arundel castle and dinner at Chartwell.

The President of the Lions Club of Sevenoaks, Alan Cattermole, welcomes the President of the Hofgeismar Lions Club, Gerd Goeckenjan to the dinner at Chartwell.
