The Lions Club of Sevenoaks has a comprehensive range of social events. The pictures show our Christmas lunch. On the right Roy Sharrad, our current president, and his wife Sonia converse with other members of the Club.
TWINNING WITH HOFGEISMAR LIONS CLUB
In 1981 the Sevenoaks Lions Club twinned with the Lions Club in Hofgeismar in Germany. This has led to many deep, long-term friendships with frequent personal visits between individuals. In addition, each year one club makes a visit to the other. In 2008 and 2010 it was the turn of the Germans to visit Sevenoaks. On each occasion we had a wonderful few days together with many activities including a visit to Arundel castle and dinner at Chartwell.
